The good news!
It’s really inexpensive to advertise on our site, especially when you compare the cost with a regular advertisement in another media. Your fee with us buys all the advertising you’re likely to need for one simple payment!

The Basic Package:
KShs 2500 plus VAT buys you one 10 x 10 square on the main display for one year. You can choose a specific position on the display, and you can buy any number of 10 x 10 squares to make up a shape and size that meets your requirements (subject in both cases to availability).

Included in this charge is:

• CoolKenya.com house style display image if required
• preparation of up to two digital logos or other images and uploading these onto the site
• a hover carrying a slogan of your choice
• your display address on the hover
• a link to a static ‘pop-up’ web-page, displaying an image of your choice (your picture, logo etc), detailed contact information and a text field for further information about yourself, your organisation, products, prices etc.
• a link from this pop-up page to your personal web-site

Graphics
preparation of up to two digital logos (or other) images for use on the site from business cards or promotional material – KShs 500 plus VAT

Examples
The below illustration shows some sample ads, and their price excluding VAT.

1. 10 x 10 at KShs 2,500
2. 20 x 10 at KShs 5,000
3. 30 x 10 at KShs 7,500
4. 20 x 20 or 40 X 10 at KShs 10,000
5. (a and b) 6 "units" in different shapes costing KShs 15,000
6. 20 x 40 at KShs 20,000
7. 60 x 20 at KShs 30,000
You are not limited to the above shapes or sizes, but you must buy in units of 10 x 10 pixels.

Dynamic Content Management
KShs 1000 plus VAT per year. Unlimited updating of personal, organisation and product information on the pop-up web-page. You will be provided with a password that will allow you to update your information at any time.

Web-site Design
A further KShs 5,000 plus VAT buys you a simple, attractive, web-site in the CoolKenya.com house style hosted on the CoolKenya.com site for one year. Dynamic content management of the data from the pop-up onto this site is included in this package. The site can also include attractively designed static graphic elements, images and text to your requirements.

CoolKenya.com will also be happy to quote for the design, hosting and maintenance of more complex sites.

Terms and Conditions
The minimum purchase is KShs 2500 plus VAT (100 pixels)

The purchase of pixels does not confer any ownership in any part of the CoolKenya.com site.

You cannot change the main page or pop-up image once you have submitted them within the period of your subscription. Text may also not be changed, except by the purchase of a Dynamic Data Management package. CoolKenya.com will give reasonable consideration for major reasons for change, for example  legal proceedings, etc.

No refund is permitted once your images and data are accepted and published on CoolKenya.com

Your data, links etc will be online for one year from the date of your purchase.

No obscene / offensive / adult images or links will be accepted on the site, and CoolKenya.com reserves the right to decline any material intended for the site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixels.

If your material or link is accepted and you later change the material or content of the linked site to show offensive / obscene / adult material then your link or material will be removed until you provide replacement(s). You will not get a refund of any kind for the downtime.

If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the home-page, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again.

Digital images should be the exact size you have paid for (e.g. 10x10 pixels) wherever possible, although CoolKenya.com will resize reasonable images at no charge wherever possible.

Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.

Images must NOT be animated.

Links to external sites must be to web pages only and begin with http://

You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the web-site you submit.

Funds must be fully received and cleared before your pixels go live on the home-page.

There will be occasional downtime for site maintenance, but CoolKenya.com undertakes to keep these to a reasonable minimum.

Once you have placed an order and the funds have cleared, CoolKenya.com undertakes to get your pixels online within 24-48hrs wherever possible (but please be patient if a lot of people order at the same time.
